For this price, it's a super great deal. So easy to put together. We powered up the solar and in the evening opened up the umbrella, turned the lights on, and enjoyed the evening. The on/off switch for the lights is at the end of one of the ribs. The crank is really easy to use, you don't have to struggle to open the umbrella. The tilt mechanism is high up the pole for me but if I stand on a stool I can reach the button - the tilt tilts in all directions. Fabulous product, I totally recommend it.

We love this solar umbrella for our back patio! It allows us to utilize our table in the back yard. Prior to this purchase, we were unable to make good use of our back yard kitchen area. It now get a lot of use! And we have received many comments from guests about how the lighting is perfect - not too bright but bright enough to eat, drink, and have conversation. We would definitely purchase all over again!

I must admit I debated on whether to purchase a less expensive patio umbrella and finally decided to just go for the best I could find and I am really glad I did. I love this umbrella and couldn't be happier! The quality is excellent and the look is very attractive. I have no doubt this purchase was the right decision and would recommend it to anyone concerned with both the appearance and quality of these umbrellas.

I'll try to post a pic at night but this was a great investment for our backyard...therrd a switch that turns the lights on that make it look so pretty at night. Very sturdy and not cheap at all

The solar lights are on the blueish side but do cast a nice glow to sit under and converse. The small on and off switch is a nice feature and the light beige color is more off white which is what I wanted. It is a very nice white. It also seems to be pretty durable as mine blew over in some heavy winds and survived unscathed.
