Has a much tighter fit and allows for no water collection in the heaviest of downpours. Has many more Velcro straps to tighten in every direction.

Last canopy up April-October in all the Midwest elements for 5 years. It was still solid, but started to leak. This replacement top is just like the original. I’m happy we bought it and will continue to buy this replacement top until the frame doesn’t work anymore, then we will buy this whole setup again. Can’t recommended enough. It’s not as fancy as others, but it has outlasted all of our neighbors pergolas and other canopy’s.
