In archaeology, we use it to cover an important excavation unit to prevent damage from sun and rain to fragile relics. Screen windows provide good light for recording, while also serving as a physical barrier. Its non permanence fully complies with the principles of heritage conservation.
We use it as a screening room for outdoor movies on the weekly Community Film Day. Place the projector and audio equipment inside to prevent rain and dew. Interestingly, white screen windows do not significantly affect sound transmission, but instead make the light softer. The long space is perfect for accommodating equipment cabinets and operators. This is definitely a dream equipment for movie fans.
Once it was up, it made a huge difference during our cookout. People actually stayed outside instead of hiding in the house. The shade kept things cooler and the netting kept the kids from screaming about bugs every two seconds. It feels sturdy enough for long afternoons and does not trap heat like some tents do. It also looks nice in the yard without being too fancy.
A tiny downside is packing it back into the bag takes patience, but that is normal for big tents. Also the fabric gets wrinkled at first but it smooths out in the sun. Overall it does exactly what I needed and makes family gatherings way more comfortable. Pretty good choice if you want shade, space, and fewer bug battles.
I like this tent. I bought it to keep flies away from me and my cows while milking in the field. Also used for raising chickens. Flies do come in, but I encountered more trouble during the night than when I was active in the tent. Thanks to the gauze, I got along well with the bees this year! We experienced several storms this summer. The wooden stakes of the tent are not enough to secure it in the place I want. However, when the wind speed reaches 20 miles per hour, even if the tent flips over in the field, it can still be held in place by two support poles.
