Bought these for my pop-up camper's awning. Works perfectly. The empty bags are lightweight to ship, which saved me money. Took 10 minutes to fill all six. Highly recommend.
These weight bags are exactly what I needed. The nylon is heavy-duty and the Velcro straps are secure. I filled them with sand and they keep my canopy from moving. The 6-pack gives me plenty of weight for my setup.
I've been using these for my outdoor music tent for about a year now, and they're still in great condition. The nylon is thick and the handles are comfortable. I filled them with sand and they're about 30 pounds each. They keep my 10x10 canopy steady through all kinds of weather. The 6-pack is also a great value and gives me extras for windy days. They're easy to clean and store flat when empty. If you're looking for canopy weights that last, these are the ones.
I've got a pretty straightforward take on these canopy weights: they work, they're well-made, and they're reasonably priced. There's not much more you can ask for, honestly. The bags are made from a thick, rugged nylon that's clearly designed for outdoor use and frequent handling. The stitching is solid and the handles are reinforced, so I don't have to worry about them falling apart when I'm carrying 30+ pounds of sand around. I've been using mine for about four months now, at least two events per month, and they still look and perform like new. The Velcro straps are strong and hold the bags securely in place on my canopy legs - I've never had one slip or shift during use. I filled them with play sand and each bag weighs in at around 33 pounds, which is plenty for my 10x10 canopy. The 6-pack is a good size because it gives me enough for the corners and a couple of extras for peace of mind. One thing I've noticed is that the bags don't absorb water or get gross when it rains - the material is water-resistant and easy to wipe down. They also don't fade or get brittle in the sun, which is a common problem with cheaper bags. At this price point, especially for a 6-pack, I think these are an excellent value. If you do any kind of outdoor events where you use a canopy, I can't recommend these enough. Simple, reliable, and affordable - what more do you need?
I appreciate good quality gear, and these bags are definitely well-made. The fabric is thick, the handles are sturdy, and the Velcro is the kind that really bites into the tent legs. They hold my canopy down perfectly in moderate wind. That said, I'm giving 4 stars because of the filling process. It's messy and time-consuming without a funnel, and the opening doesn't hold its shape. I also think they could use some kind of label or slot for writing the weight so you can keep track if you have multiple sets. Minor gripes, but they add up. Still, they're better than most options out there.
