I was about to list my 10x15 Apex frame for parts on Facebook when I realized the only thing wrong was a weak spring in one leg. Found this spring on Eurmax for $19.99 and figured I'd give it a shot. Best twenty bucks I've spent in a long time. The spring hooked right in-no modification needed. Now the leg locks perfectly and the frame is as good as new. The build quality on this spring is excellent. It's made of thick-gauge stainless with cleanly formed ends. No rust, no binding, no issues. If you think your frame is toast, check the springs first. It might be a $20 fix instead of a $500 problem.
I bought a used 10x15 Superior frame from a guy online for $60. One leg was completely missing the spring-just a hollow tube. Took a chance on this replacement spring from Eurmax. It hooked right into place and the leg locked up perfectly on the first try. The spring is clearly OEM quality-same wire gauge, same coil count, same everything as the original on the other legs. For $19.99 and two minutes of work, I turned a junk frame into a fully functional canopy. You can't beat that. I'm buying two more springs just to have spares in my trailer. If you're buying used Eurmax frames, buy a couple of these springs. You'll probably need them.
Lost the spring from my 10x10 Superior frame during a chaotic teardown in the dark. Couldn't find it anywhere. The leg was useless without it. Ordered this replacement and it showed up in two days. The spring is clearly high-quality-the steel has a nice finish and the coils are uniform. Hooked it in place with a pair of pliers and the leg locked up tight again. For twenty bucks, I saved myself from buying a new frame. I'm ordering a spare to keep in my canopy bag so I'm never caught without one again. If you own a Eurmax frame, just buy this spring and throw it in your kit. Future you will be grateful.
I do about 30 craft shows a year with my 10x10 Superior frame. The spring in the front leg started getting weak-the leg would slowly droop over the course of a six-hour show. Drove me nuts. Ordered this replacement spring and installed it in a hotel parking lot with a multitool. The difference is night and day. The new spring has way more tension than the tired old one. The leg stays locked at whatever height I set it, all day long. For $19.99, this fixed a problem that was making me hate my canopy. If you do high-volume setup and teardown, springs wear out. It's just a fact. But Eurmax makes it easy to replace them. That's what keeps me coming back.
Had a spring snap on my 10x20 Apex frame during a wind gust at a car show. Thought I was done for the weekend. A buddy told me Eurmax sells replacements individually. Ordered this spring overnight, had it the next morning, and was back up and running in five minutes. The spring is heavy-duty stainless steel-not that flimsy coated wire you see on cheap canopies. The hook ends are formed cleanly and grabbed onto the mechanism without any wrestling. Saved my entire weekend and about $400 in frame replacement costs. When you run a business out of your canopy, having a parts supplier that actually stocks what you need is priceless.
